This pathway focuses on the general study of aviation and the aviation industry, including in-flight and ground support operations. Includes instruction in the technical, business, and general aspects of air transportation systems. Students who complete the Aviation & Aerospace Pathway will leave with an FAA 107 Drone License, enabling them to move immediate employment as a drone pilot or further study in Aviation.
The business pathway explores the fundamentals of business, management, entrepreneurship, and marketing skills to be successful in business. Students will understand core business principles and the essentials needed to prepare, launch鈥痑nd maintain鈥痑 successful business. Industry recognized certifications may include Entrepreneurship and Small Business Certification, QuickBooks, Microsoft Word Certification, Microsoft Excel Certification, Microsoft Power Point Certification, Microsoft Outlook Certification and Microsoft Access Certification.
The engineering pathway focuses on developing the technical skills identified by our industry and education partners to prepare our students to enter the next stage in their STEM career. Our program emphasizes applying mathematical and scientific principles to the engineering design process that includes problem solving and project management. Students will get exposure to a variety of equipment used in the industry such as 3D printers, laser engravers, table saw, CNC machines, router, and manual lathes. Industry recognized certifications available in this pathway may include AutoCAD and Solid Works.
This pathway prepares students to obtain employment as a Certified Nurse Aide and/or Phlebotomist. Students will gain real life work experience through simulated labs, volunteer opportunities, internships and apprenticeships. Includes instruction in basic anatomy and physiology; medical terminology; medical law and ethics; and healthcare skills. Industry recognized certifications may include Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.), Phlebotomy, Medical Interpretation and Basic Life Support (BLS).
The Information Technology pathway prepares students for a career in computer science, network technology or cyber security. Depending on the focus area, proficient students will demonstrate an understanding of electronics, basic鈥痙igital theory, causes and prevention of Internet security breaches, or programming. Students will obtain industry recognized certifications that may include A+, Network+, Security+, IT Fundamentals, and PC Pro.
The multimedia pathway in the applied visual arts focuses on the general principles and techniques for effectively communicating ideas and information by packaging products in digital and other formats to business and consumer audiences. Industry recognized certifications may include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Pro Certification.
